Gaborone International Meet (GIM) is an international track and field competition which is hosted in Botswana on an annual basis by Sports View Runners Club.

It is the only international track and field event hosted in Botswana.

The purpose of this event is to provide a platform for both upcoming and elite athletes to showcase their talent as well as prepare and in some cases qualify for international competitions.

It is open to international athletes across the world and, in the past, it has attracted international athletes from Central and Southern Africa.

The performance of athletes who keep taking part in this event speak for themselves. It has qualified athletes for Regional, Continental and International Championships (for example, World Championships, Olympics, Commonwealth Games, All Africa Games, etc.) since its inception.

The 2022 Gaborone International Meet will be hosted at the National Stadium in Gaborone on the 30th of April from 2pm-8pm.

The event has been endorsed by the Botswana Athletics Association and Gaborone City Council

Members of the public buy tickets at very minimal fees for VIP and other stands to attend and watch the athletes in action
